What do you eat, when even the smallest of meals/snacks give you heatburn/indigestion?

  • Saltines, Toast, Bananas, Ginger Ale ~ all help me to calm the heartburn.

  • Crackers, ginger ale, plain baked chicken, rice, bland soups. I've also found if you take about a shot glass of aloe vera juice a day, it helps me with indigestion. Its very safe, so if you need more, you can always take another shot. :) good luck!

  • Pineapple, papaya tablets, and apple cider vinegar all helped me with pregnancy heartburn. I'd keep some pineapple in the freezer and that was very relieving. I'd take the papaya after every meal as a preventative and mix a table spoon of apple cider vinegar in some warm water and drink it a couple of times a day. My heartburn was so much better when I did these things.

  • Keep a food diary, and make a note after each meal/snack what did or did not cause heart burn. Try not to play with the pH of your stomach too much, because it can make you sick to do so.

  • Oh, and I slept propped up on three pillows because it was really bad at night.
