How innocent would it be for a 20 year old guy to be talking to my dd, (age 12), on facebook?

He is a college student who has a public profile. And I contacted his listed girlfriend to explain to her I want it to stop. Ohh... my dd is 12.

  • Block him from her page, a 20 yr old has no business talking to a 12 yr old unless he's family.
I monitor all my children's friends and block those that I feel shouldn't be on their FB, and I go through periodically and delete friends off their pages as well.

  • That is why 12yr olds do not belong on FB and why FB has set guidelines that automatically make a teenagers page private, unless of course she lied about her age when she opened her account, in which case he probably has no idea she is 12

  • I would put a stop to that ASAP. Today you have to see who these kids are talking to. I would not take this lightly at all.

  • I agree that it is inapriopriate, and that it needs to stop, but why not just go on and un friend him from your daughters page, and maybe ground her from facebook for a while so she can learn a lesson.

  • well, he might not know her age, because she had to lie about it to make her profile. you have to be at least 13 now. i miss the days where you had to be in college. she needs to delete her profile. 12 year olds have no business on social networking sites.
