Where did my sweet boy go??

OMG, I think he's been traded! I have this whiny butt 3 year old now. I miss my sweet little boy. *sniffles* I take him to school this morning, his tablemate gives him a nice cheery "Hello!" and what does my child do? Grunts at him and shouts "No," very unfriendly like! Then keeps whining whenever I said anything. Ugh. I felt so bad for the other little boy. I hope this stage ends soon because he's been doing it (the whining) a LOT lately.

  • Unfortunately it takes awhile but eventually they learn that its not needed to whine to get what you want. Just don't encourage it but giving into his every whim. Or it will get worse.

  • It's just a phase. He will soon notice most other children his age do not whine to get what they want and most will communicate

  • I too think he will catch on soon, it's a phase that most children go through.
