  • What type do you like to read? I'd recommend anything by Stephen King, Anne Rivers Siddons, or Maeve Binchy. Anna Quinlan has an excellent recent book, "Every Last One," which I would recommend.

  • Anything by Tess Gerritsen, especially The Surgeon. She writes medical mystery/crime genre most of the time.

I also love VC Andrews, but more of her classic work than the recent. She is a mainstream/romance type genre.

I also love Cormac McCarthy. He's ingenious!
