Would you believe your husband...?

Would you believe your husband if you found he was chatting to an ex online saying very meaningful things (i.e. I love you, I wanna be with you, miss you, your beautiful) to her and when confronted about it says "I only said those things for revenge." Because she broke his heart many years ago.
Would you believe that to be truth?

  • Nope. You don't tell someone you want to be with them if you don't. It's that simple.
Then ontop of that saying "I love you" .. Yea, that's just the topper. He clearly is a douche bag.

  • Nope.

I've been married 25 years.. I know my husband. I know that he does not say things he does not mean. I know that he is not petty enough, or quite frankly, stupid enough to consider that to be "revenge".. I know my husband well enough to know that he does what he wants to do, no one makes him, manipulates him, etc.. to do anything he does not want to do..

Knowing my husband as well as I do. No. I would not believe him if he said that to me.
