  • My daddy started to teach me how to cook at the age of seven. I remember making pasta meals, homemade pineapple upside down cake, homemade chicken noodle soup, and a lot of other meals. My dh LOVES my cooking. It's all trial and error, but it's fun to play in the kitchen regardless of how it turns out.

  • No one "taught" me. I saw my mom and then when it was time for me to do it, I just could.

  • I didn't really do much cooking or baking until I got married. I did a little with my mom and grandma, but mostly, i would say I taught myself and now I am in culinary school learning how to do everything the best way.

  • The first thing I ever made (other than my Easy Bake oven) was french toast, when I was about 6. My mom taught me, and of course she was standing right there with me at the stove.
