IHOP sues IHOP, have you heard?

Lol, the guy I heard taling about this on the radio this morning said, "So do you think the church has a Rooty-Tooty Freash 'N Fruity Sunday?" Lol, I thought that was hysterical!

The just of the story (link below) is that IHOP is suing a church for using their acronym.

I just heard about it this morning.

What are your thoughts on it?

  • it may be frivolous, ridiculous, and stupid..but the company has the right to protect their franchised (not the term i'm looking for) product..and that owned-product is their name/acronym.
i'm surprised it took this long to get their 'papers' in order.

  • Oh my! There are duplicate acronyms EVERYTHWERE..just like there are people actually named Barbie...where do we draw the line? Do we need to constantly invent new words so there is no overlap. Maybe IHOP should invite people to hop on down after they have been to IHOP.
