Chicken Pox?

My daughter has gotten a bunch of little red bumbs on her face. It started looking like mosquito bites, and is now smaller and looks like a pimple. Any idea what this could be? It is only on her face and shoulder. I thought chicken pox, but it didnt spread anywhere else.

  • Hives maybe? Has she eaten anything that she had never had before? Or gotten into anything new lately? Does it itch? Try some Benedryl and see if that helps the rash go away. Good luck!

  • Has she been vaccinated for chicken pox? People who get chicken pox are at risk for getting shingles later in life. The virus never goes away. It just remains dormant in the body.
