my 8 year old daughter tried to punch her auntie......

heres what i did: she dug up rocks that weighed maybe 5lbs each and piled them up and then moved the pile a couple times. seemed to work REALLY well. all i have to say is you want to go move rocks and she does exactly what i said to do.

what would you have done? do you think this punishment is too much?

  • ha ha my husband dad made him do that too as a child.... hes a great person now so maybe hard labor is the key!

  • yes it was a punishment! i dont believe in whooping my kids so for something like that i had to come up with a good punishment that shes not going to forget.....well shes not going to forget it!

  • I don't "whoop" my kids either, but I'll be damned if I make them move rocks around. 5 lbs is heavy for a child! Send her to her room..or don't let her watch tv.. or something.. but to make her do physical labor like that is beyond ridiculous!
