Did you know as gun sales rose violent crimes declined?

Remember the wonderful business gun salemen got not so long ago? Remember all of the paranoid ladies on CM and their overly dramatic posts about that? Well check this out..

  • Yeah, it's amazing how criminals think twice about mugging, attacking or robbing you when they aren't so sure you're not carrying a weapon!!

Unlike in the UK where firearms are illegal (even non-SWAT policemen don't carry them), and criminals can and will walk right into your home, while you are home, in broad daylight, and help themselves to your things, and there's not a damn thing you can do about it! Oh, and that's because CRIMINALS don't care about gun laws, and usually have one on them!!

All that gun laws do, is make it harder for the LAW ABIDING citizens to obtain one!! Do you see how that works, libs?! Think Virgina Tech, Columbine, and any number of school shootings....just think...if ONE person had a concealed weapon on them at the time, things may have turned out vastly different. But NOO, not only are admins banned from having guns at school, but we have to ADVERTISE that schools are "gun free zones!" *sigh*

  • That's because people who own guns legally go through background checks and generally are not getting the gun to harm others. Crime would go down because criminals don't want to confront another person who they suspect has a gun. We need to work on getting illegal guns off the streets to see an even bigger drop in crimes.

  • Put a car on blocks with an engine hanging from a tree and most criminals will avoid the property since it's owner probably has a gun, LOL.

  • There is a possibility that these statistics are just a coincidence.

That being said... I still plan on purchasing more firearms. Not because I need the protection but because I just like to shoot.

  • I didn't know that, but I'm not so sure one directly affected the other.

  • That says violent crime, not gun crime. I wonder if gun crime also decreased.
