  • When I was working full-time, I was the major breadwinner. He now makes more than I do (I'm not currently working) but when I do consulting work, I bill out at a higher per hour rate than hubby earns at his FT job.

  • I do! A LOT more, at least 3-4 times as much. Hopefully that will be changing in the next year or two. PhD student/adjunct professors barely make peanuts. But hopefully he'll be done and getting an actual job in the coming year.

  • My husband always made more than me up until last year when he lost his job. He found another job and I am now making about $4 and hour more than he is, but that will change once he reaches his 3 yr anniversary at his job. His pay will go up about $7 more than what he is making right now. It does bother him, hurts his pride I think. I don't talk about it. Let him feel important. Men need that.

  • I don't work now butt when I do get out of school in about a year and a half I will be an RN. I will probably make about twice what he makes in a year and he could care less lol... he is actually anxious for me to get out of school and start working.
