Is it ok to wear a jean jacket with jeans?

or is it a fashion no-no?

  • I have always avoided this as much as I could when I had a denim jacket. But its hard when most of your pants are blue jeans! In my opinion most of the time it doesn't look good. :)

  • I personally wouldn't. It reminds me of that late 80s early 90s side ponytail look. However, if you do I would wear a light denim jacket with dark jeans or vise-versa, not the same color denim for both.

  • It is just fine to do this. That is the way it should be. But, do try to keep the colors the same. No black jacket with blue jeans.

  • depends on the material..

    IMO it can look tacky unless it's the right material and shade (a dark jean would be less tacky).

    but it's sort of western 80's/90's.
