  • We couldn't hear my babies at 8 weeks but we saw it with the ultrasound.

  • When I was 8 weeks, the doctors could not hear my son's heartbeat. They told me that it was common and that we'd definitely be able to hear it for my 12 week checkup, and we did.

  • I think 10 weeks is about the time they start being able to hear it.

  • No. We went at 10 weeks and couldn't hear it. She was just turned funny, there wasn't anything wrong. Don't worry if they can't find it yet.

  • my uterus was tilted back with this pregnancy so we weren't able to hear the heart beat until at least 12 weeks.

  • With ultrasound they should hear it by 6 weeks. But they also use measurements to determine if the baby is ok.
