WHY do people stop so far away from the white line at the redlight?

I'm talking about people like the one I saw yesterday who was THREE car lengths back and not even ON the sensor!

WHY do they DO that?!

  • they had to stop to tweet?
    or text?
or they have a phobia about white painted lines?
    maybe God told them too?
or they see dead people and a whole bunch of ded people were in front of the car hogging all the space up?

  • They do it because other idiots who can't drive and are turning left will undoubtedly turn into their lane, BUT, it does annoy me too, AND....I have actually pulled past them and then "parrellel parked" in front of them just to show them how much freaking room they left. I also hate people who leave 2-3 car lengths between them and the car in front of them at lights
