  • ry to
    daughter three has autism
sometimes my idea of schedule does not work
er autism has it's own schedule
so we so off schedule often
sometimes she can not sit and attend to task
    so i change it up
but!! she has slowed down and sometimes i can "read" book to her
i say "read" because she turns pages pretty quick
and at her age and her level, more importnant to get her to point at things, sometimes labels things!!!

took forever for her to point, so very thankful when she started to point!!!!

  • I did when they were younger. They are both teens now and read some every night. I will still read aloud when we travel.

  • Most days I do read to my son before bed (If he doesnt fall alseep early) I allow him to pick out 3 storys. He loves it and it is a great time to spend one on one time! We just joined our local library yesterday to add more variety into the books we read!

  • Almost every night before bed, and sometimes during the day, too. My 7 year old loves to read, and reads big novels for teenagers already.

  • When he lets me, lol. He has one story (On the night you were born) I read to him almost every night. But he's picky about having actual "story time" during the day. Some days he'll let me, and some days he just won't.

  • On average yes. We have a day now and then where things are not perfect, but for the most part we read daily.
