Did you know that Prince is straight up black, and not biracial?

browsing through a funny yearbook photo site, and was shocked to see that Prince was never biracial. After all, he refers himself indirectly as biracial in the song, "Pop Life", where his mother was frustrated that his "hair had no curl".

There were a lot of celebrated black music artists in the 80's. Why did Prince do this? (I thought that he seemed much more stable than Michael Jackson.)

  • I find it interesting that he went from being , "Prince", to being the artist formally known as, "Prince", which by the way is a whole sentence in itself and then going back to his former name....
