  • Look at human history for the last 2,000 odd years, it is full of war, famine, earthquakes, floods, natural disasters of all kinds and people have been saying these are the signs since Christ left the earth, if the beast and the mark and all that is literal and not metaphor of some kind, then it could be another 2,000 years before it comes to pass still because all these things have already been happening for well, since the beginning of time, right? So, either, this is just how the world is, or as the bible says you cannot predict the hour, you cannot say the time is near, when the "signs" have been happening for the past 2,000 years. i say if you are comfortable with yourself as a person and are comfortable with your religion, than stop worrying about it! and be happy with the time you have here right now.

  • The thing is....just because one chooses not to believe something doesn't mean it isn't real.
Only God knows if we are in "the last days" and how long they will last.
    Even so, come Lord Jesus!

  • Anon, really, you can promise that it won't happen? They have the technology right now to put all of my banking and personal info into a chip and insert it into my hand. Why couldn't this be soemthing in the future? The Bible clearly says it will happen although I'm not sure if it will be before or after the rapture. But no, I would not be surprised if they came up with something like that soon.

  • I do these are the things that will happen just before, and have you noticed how a lot of people hardly ever use money or carry we are being set up for it .but before these are the signs.
    Mark 13:7
When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.
    Matthew 24:7
Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
    2 Tim. 3:1-5
    Godlessness in the Last Days
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God-- having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them. nex

Luke 17:26-31 ….just as it occurred in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of man. They were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage, until that day when Noah entered into the ark and the flood arrived and DESTROYED THEM ALL. Likewise just as it occurred in the days of Lot., they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, …but on the day that Lot came out of Sodom it rained fire and sulfur from heaven and DESTROYED THEM ALL. The same way it will be on that day when the son of man is to be revealed. On that day let the person that is on the house top but whose valuable things [jewels] are in the house not come down to pick these up
