Is this a good breakfast for a 3 year old?

3 eggs scrambled, and orange and a glass of koolaide

  • Sounds good to me, but if you can skip the koolaide and instead add some fruit juice or milk. I am just not a fan of koolaid. But if it works for you little one, then go for it!

  • I agree with the other ladies. Koolaid is not a good option, it has artificial colors and it is way too sweet for breakfast. I would replace that with a small glass of juice or water.

  • Kool aid is just not something any kid needs. I am by no means a health nut but I can't understand why this product is even on the market. The rest of it sounds good - eggs are a great protein and oranges have good vitamins and fiber. I woudn't feed this every single day, just for the sake of variety. But I wouldn't serve any one thing every day. I think variety is essential for raising a nonpicky kid :)

  • Yep...but I would skip the kool-aid definitely and add a piece of whole grain toast with a little butter.

  • I would lose the Kool-aid.

    Give 2 eggs, the orange, some whole-wheat toast with a thin layer of peanut butter and some no sugar yogurt. You could even give some slices of avocado.
