can a doctor diagnose endometriosis with a pelvic ultrasound

I just had a pelvic US and the tech said everything looked fine she didnt see any cyst or abnormalities or tumors... but she said that my uterus was tilted back and twisted down to the left.. and i read that that could be due to p.i.d or endometriosis, if i were to have those or one or the other would it show on a ultra sound??

  • no it wouldn't. You would need a laparoscopy.
