S/O on the mark of the beast .... rapture anyone?

I am curious ... of those who are fearful of the Mark of the Beast happening soon, how many of you believe that the church will be taken in the "Pre-Tribulation Rapture?"

  • honestly, its not likely... that doesn't seem to be the way God works things through scripture... he sustains us through trials and tribulations... doesn't usually whisk us away from them

  • I don't the bible does not support pre at all. It does support post
    51. What does it mean to believe in the post-tribulation rapture? Since post means after, to believe
in the post-tribulation rapture means you believe Christians will be raptured at the end of the Great
Tribulation at the Second Coming of Jesus. The Bible explicitly teaches this. After describing the Great
Tribulation in Matthew 24:15-26, Jesus states when believers will be raptured in Matthew 24:29-31.
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give
its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then the
sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they
will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. continued

  • 31 He will send
His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four
winds, from one end of heaven to the other. (Mt. 24:29-31)

  • see the church will be taken out before the tribulation and the mark, if you read revelation. the first chapters are talking to the church.
but later in later chapters the church is no longer mentioned,

  • But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words." —1st Thessalonians 4:13-18

  • "Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left" (Matthew 24:41).
"Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left" (Luke 17:36).

Matthew 24:41 and Luke 17:36 are speaking about the Pretribulation Rapture
