Girls in Technology

Do you think I should encourage my daughter to increase her interest in science and technology? Because there are many more males than females studying those subjects, she'd be heavily recruited by colleges and have an excellent chance of meeting a future "Bill Gates." That sure couldn't hurt!

  • If she's interested, encourage it for her own advancement. Never encourage anything in hopes of meeting a mate... life backfires that way, y'know.

  • It's usually best to encourage them in a direction they're interested in... but science, math, etc are SOOOO much fun! I have ZERO regrets about going through the Computer Science program!
