there's no cold medicines out there for my one year old. she has a cough that gets worse at night and might be whooping cough. what can i do for her or give her?
If she has been vaccinated it should not be whooping cough. That is part of childhood immunizations (DPT). You may be mistaking it for croup. You are correct. They do not have over the counter meds for cough for children under the age of 6 yrs. If she is running a fever or has problems breathing then you will need to call your Ped or go to the ER. I wish you the best.
