Does your belly button protrude?

My hubby and I noticed the other day that when I laugh or sneeze my belly button pops out!! I'm 23 weeks pregnant so its on its way out there fully, but has this happened to anyone else?

  • yes... it's an umbilical hernia and it will close up after the baby is born most of the time (mine didn't heal up by itself and i will have to get it surgically fixed).

  • Mine doesn't do that, but it's really s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d out now. I'm telling ya, the top is under my chin and the bottom is touching my toes lol. :)-

  • I'm 24 weeks and my belly button is half pocked out. The bottom half is still in.

  • Mine did too while I was pregnant, and it went away after I gave birth. It is looks different now, though. It is a fact that every woman's body changes after pregnancy and delivery. It helps if your hubby says encouraging things, though.
