Cake filling question

I'm making a cake for my son's b-day party tomorrow. I'm filling it with pudding and sliced bananas. If I fill and frost the cake and refrigerate it tonight will it keep okay until tomorrow evening? I'd really rather not have to assemble the whole cake tomorrow if I can help it.

  • Make your cake today, fill and ice it and cover it and put in the fridge. It will be JUST FINE! Take the cake out 1 to 2 hours before serving and it will be GREAT. DO NOT freeze a made cake with pudding and bannanas as the banannas will turn black and the pudding will seperate.

  • you could try freezing it, and taking it out 2-3 hours before the may become soggy if you just put it in the fridge..i'm not really sure, though.
