my daughter and her fever continued...

So its been on and off while I've been giving her motrin. I'm nervous because she's not taking any fluids in. I tried to give her a bottle four different times today plus some pedialyte. She wanted nothing to do with the pedialyte and had about a total of 8oz of formula total today. Should I be worried? She has peed a couple times. I just wish I could make her feel better.

  • Dehydration is a big conceren with fevers...just keep offering fluids and hopefully she takes them. If she dosen't start drinking then take her to the doctor. Better safe than sorry

  • I took her to the doctors today and they said to make sure she has three wet diapers a day. She just doesn't want anything.

  • Keep trying...depending on how old she is she may be able to have a little gatorade...just water it down a little. My daughter would never drink that pedialyte and it's pretty nasty. Just keep an eye on her....oh and my dr always said to switch from tylonel to motrin...if u give her motrin a day then switch cuz after a while it wouldn't work.

    hope she feels better
