  • If you work for an employer that doesn't recognize your accomplishments, you have 3 choices; 1. Quit 2. Ask him/her what else it is you can do to help the company's bottom line 3. Learn something/or be the best at it, at the company no one else can do to make you more valuable - so when it comes time for layoffs - you may be one of the last to go if ever.

  • Confront your boss and tell her/him that you feel like you are working very hard, but you do not know if they feel you do. The less "best friends" you have at a work place is for your good, in my experience. Find what you are better at than most and go head on and soon you will be noticed. Hope things get better.

  • Poor thing! I would ask him why he treats you that way. Explain that you are very hard working & enjoy your job so why NO recognition????? Be very nice about it, though!

  • Unforunately, this happens a lot. And it's even worst now that companies are usings as few employees as possible. best of luck.

  • Most employers don't care about you, they care about the labor you provide, this is another reason why self emplyment has always been my preference.
