have you been denied a loan ?

We are tring to move and have been denied a loan...:(
is there anything we can do?
beside pay off debt , and without having a high interest rate...
HUD, FSBO, call a realtor ? ? ? idk gotta move NOW......:(

  • Check your credit reports and make sure you correct any errors. If you've been denied a loan, you can get those for free from all three credit bureaus even if you checked your reports less than a year ago. Try debt consoldation. And, yes, talk to a realtor and a loan officer. The higher your credit score, the lower your interest rate will be.

  • No I've never been denied a loan but I agree the PP about checking your credit report, disputing anything that seems inaccurate, consolidating debt and doing all that you can now to get bills paid on time. Dont give up on finding someone that is willing to work with you.

  • Yes. We were denied b/c lack of credit. We were trying to establish credit. :) I would check credit reports and start paying off small things. Anyways, we finally got approved after putting 3500 down on the new car. Now we are establishing credit. Finally.
