how old before a child can use adult toothpaste?

  • Honestly, my kids never used "kid" toothpaste. They're dentists always said that as long as we used the proper amount (not tons and tons of it for their little mouths), and they weren't eating it, it wasn't a problem (both of which would go for the little kid toothpaste, too). They said that mostly the whole point of the kid toothpaste was the flavoring and packaging, designed to appeal to a child.

  • my kids use the kid kind..Before age 4 we used the toddler kind.
