Last minute mini vacation

DD is with the grandparents for the weekend. So Dh and I decided to take a one night trip somewhere tomorrow night. We are debating between like a bed and breakfast type thing? or just a mini road trip and sleep wherever we end up. thoughts? different ideas?

  • My BF is house-sitting for the weekend at his moms house, staying with his other son there (whom I actually despise!). I feel like myself and our 2 year old son are on vacation already without him around. Believe me, if I had a license and a car, we would be on the road somewhere (destination unknown) at this very second! I am a "fly by the seat of pants type of gal", so I would have been gone by now. I KNOW that a road-trip with MY 2year old would be better than being in this hole with him anyday.

  • I would choose the B& B since we never stayed in one before.

  • See where you end up...much more fun and exciting not knowing what lies ahead. Bed and breakfasts could have too many strangers to truly feel comfortable to relax in.

  • Bed and B/fasts can be really good, you do your research just like anywhere you stay, its just not a big thing in America therefore many people are uneasy with it.

  • Drive somewhere and eat a cute little local restaurant.
