  • Why not have some of the pictures stand out and look "3-D" by cutting the person out of the picture and then putting a piece of cotton ball or wadded up tissue on the back, then gluing it to the collage. That person will then "Stand out" from the rest of the collage.

  • what size and how many pics you have will make a diffrence. Perhaps have him lay down on butcher paper and trace around him then blow up his face for the head and then fill in all the body with family pics. Make it look like a quilt with each patchwork square being a diffrent part of his life. Like one for mom and dad and other family and some for hobbies and other stuff he likes to do.

  • A bigger picture of his head, with a fan of pictures above- to the left pictures of people from when he was a baby, and moving the right, pictures as he grew.

  • If you scrapbook - think of it like a blown up scrapbook page. I agree with the 3D look that would be very different! Use colorful paper background behind the pics and let your child put stickers on it! Even though, most projects from home require a parent to do them. I really try to let my child do a lot of it. Even if it isn't perfect, your child will benefit more from it!! Have fun with it!
