Any easy remedies for a sore throat?

I have tried throat spray, cough drops, mint throat feels like I am constantly swallowing gravel and breathing in fire. My ears also hurt when I swallow. I think its post nasal drip, I am taking a decongestant, but the pain is still there.

  • Honey, tea together and u can add wiskey if you drink at all those are the best. Them get a dish rag and get it as hot as u can stand it and put it around your throat. This has always worked for us Drink the tea and all the stuff with it every half hour to an hour you will get sleepy so no driving or working or filling out papers..

  • Yep...honey and lemon is good ( My parents made us honey whiskey and lemon to sip)....and warm salt water..........if you can stomach it...swallow a tad bit of the water...not a lot...just tiny sips.....might just help.

OH... and DONT swallow ANY congestion...spit that junk out!!! Thats how people get pneumonia's..spit the snot stuff out into a tissue....

    Hope you feel better soon!
