brown line...

im starting to get a brown line/spots from my belly button.... why does this happen? ive seen on other women before.... ugh

  • i dont know WHY it happens but its very normal...personally, i think that there is a brown line and your nipples get darker all so that the baby can find its way to the breast...might sound silly but there was a scientific study that showed that if you leave a newborn on a mother's torso, it will find its way to the breast and latch on within 30 min...mother nature is amazing...that is another reason why skin to skin is so important immediately after has to learn their way around...congrats!!

  • Linea is hereditary. My friends dd had it, but none of the women in my family have it. It will go away awhile after baby is born. It is caused by hormones.
