  • Hmmm...maybe not directly an educational learning...but K'nex come in age 3-5 sets and they learn hand eye coordination...my boy loved that kind of thing...he also liked his My First Leap Pad.

  • I LOVES LEGOS AT THAT AGE AND MY HUBBY TALKS ABOUT HOW THOSE WERE HIS ALTIME FAVORITE TOY. THEY LEARN ALL KINDS OF COORDINATION WITH LEGOES, AND IT GIVES CHILDREN AN ENDLESS OUTLET FOR THERE IMAGINATIONS TO GROW. PLUS YOU CAN USE THEM TO TEACH YOUR SON HOW TO COUNT AND LOTS OF OTHER THINGS. THEY ARE THE ALL-AROUND-GOOD-TOY. :) GOOD LUCK PICKING SOME OUT.

  • This isn't really a toy -- but the Leap Frog DvDs "Letter Factory" and "Word Factory" are amazing for helping kids learn the sounds and understand the basics of words. My aunt in law is a kindergarten teacher at a private school and she recommended them. She said repeatedly her kids that do best with reading and letters all had watched these videos at least some. My son can sound out words already and he's just with his SAHM :) I am certainly not trying to home school, just would rather him watch stuff he can benefit from... verses Sponge Bob - ya know?

  • Check out Discovery Toys. They have some awesome learning toys that are age appropiate and kids love them.
