Do you use toothpaste for your 2 yr old?

Should I be using toothpaste for my 2 year old or will he just eat the toothpaste? When did you start brushing your kids teeth with toothpaste?

  • We use a toddler toothpaste. It's designed for little ones with sensitive mouths who may swallow the toothpaste.

  • we were using flouride free toothpaste from the start up until recently (my dd turned two in July). we then started working on her spitting it out while we were brushing so we do use the flouride stuff now. Shes stil not the best at spitting it out but we use such a small amount that its safe.
