  • black gives a look that is especially slimming, avoid tight clothing that will emphasize your heavy areas, Steer clear of horizontal stripes, which make you appear wider, but consider vertical stripes, which make you look longer and leaner...

  • although black may give the look a little slimmer look, dont wear those shirts that are tight on the chest and flare out like a flowy skirt on your stomach...that will give you a pregnant look. you want to wear things that are form fitting but not too tight or loose. it is about form fitting and sometimes color but not always.

  • Black actually makes you look larger, believe it or not. Baggy clothes are also as bad as form-fitting clothes if you have some extra rolls.
I wear comfortable and loose-fitting clothing in colors that compliment my skin tone, eye color, and/or hair color so that the attention is taken from my body and brought up to my face. :) My clothes are loose, but not overly large and baggy...they are fitted, but not snug. I want to be comfortable, but not look ridiculous, either.
