Ham or Roasted Beef for Xmas Dinner??

  • I've done a whole roasted beef tenderloin for Christmas dinner, with two sauces and roasted root vegetables. It was absolutely to die for, it served 10 perfectly with no leftovers. The down side was, it was almost criminally expensive compared to turkey.

  • hubby doesn't like ham and I never heard of doing roast beef for Christmas dinner!

    We do a big pan of lasagna :)

  • We're more likely to have roast beef during the year and ham is a treat for us, so I'd have ham. If it were the other way around, I'd have roast beef.

  • I make ham for Christmas dinner. My aunt used to make roast beef for it though.
