how do I help my daughter not to be so angry when she does not get her way.

  • Talk to her. I have a 4yo with an anxiety issue. He gets vary angry and hurt when we have to tell him NO. We have to sit him down and explain things to him in terms he understands. Once he figures out that we are saying no for a good reason, he calms down and goes on with his day... But it takes that extra moment or two to explain things...

  • I know she is much too young to dicipline. I get so nervous with the temper tantruns. My parents used to hit me all the time. I do not want to raise my baby that way....

  • Calmly talk to her about why she is angry. Then if she is still beyond control send her to her room till she calms down.

  • If she sees you calm, then she will learn in time to be calm as well.
