Baby Name: Gavin Warren?

Coming up with boy names is so hard for us. How does Gavin Warren sound? Gavin means White Hawk, Warren means Loyal. I know the meanings don't really mesh. But I like the names together. Any other middle name you can come up with for Gavin?

  • I am not sure I like warren for a middle name. There is something about them both ending with a "n" that I don't care for. I do like the name Gavin though.

  • Gavin is our boy name if we end up having a boy this time but we're using his dad's middle name, which is Alonzo. Gavin Alonzo. I like it but it may not be for everyone!
We have great taste in names!

  • I wanted to pick names that are from both sides of our nationalities. I'm English/Scottish descent. DH is Native American/German descent. So a Scottish/German name is what I came up with. :) Peskie I wouldn't have picked Alonzo but I think it goes nice together.

  • I like both the names, but not really together. I'm not a fan of the rhyming first and middle names, it seems a little awkward to say imo.

  • My son is Gavin Jordan, I love it and you are welcome to use it. We are also thinking about Gavin Joshua. J is a great middle initial for a man.

  • Love both names, but not sure if I like them together.

  • I like Gavin but not with Warren. I think the "en" sound at the end of both names throws it off.
What about something like Gavin Scott?
    Good luck
