Is it safe for my 7 month old to have cooked strawberries?

or other berries? We have no history of allergies.

  • I gave my 7 1/2 month old a strawberry today, I didn't cook it. It should be find, just watch for any kind of reaction.

  • They recommend that you wait until after one year or even 2 years. Family history does play a roll but keep in mind there is a first time for everything. My best friends son, they found out recently by a trip to the ER is deathly allergic to nuts... Not family history at all. If you do, and for the record I did watch for signs of an allergy all the same. Rash or change in breathing patterns. Not saying don't do it, because like I said I did, just saying be careful.

  • I would think so. My daughter was eating little bites off my plate by then or I'd put food in that little pacifier looking thing
