Have you lived where you are long enough to be able

to smell, feel or tell what weather is coming?

  • born and raised here...I can tell high pressure and low pressure but can not predict the fog patterns even still. I know when we are going to pop at hot day though~no air conditioning so you learn when to open the house up early and close it up to save the cool air~

  • Um not where I am right now.. but back where my parents lived.. you knew if it was going to rain depending on the wind pushing the paper mill smell towards town... I know weird but it always did if you could smell it in town

  • When I lived in Chicago I could usually tell when it was going to rain because of the way the air felt or smelled. Same with cold and snow.
Only been here for a month. I'm still getting used to the fresh air, lol.
