  • I think the normal time is 5 months, then regular baby food at 6.... My son had reflux so at about 2 months we would give him a tiny bit of rice in his bottle so he could keep it down

  • When you feel she is ready. Around 4-6 months. My daughter's pediatrician told us when she could eat it out of a spoon after about 4 months.

  • My oldest was six months. My youngest (who has tummy issues) was infant oatmeal at 7 months.

  • Oh, and putting it in the bottle didn't work for us either, I think its a good little trick but it's not for every child.

  • The newest recommendation is 6 mo for formula and bf babies. However babies don't need rice cereal. It is hard to digest and causes constipation. It doesn't make babies sleep through the night. It was invented to get iron down babies before formula had iron. Babies can start on fork mashed food like bananas, sweet potato, or avacado that they feed themselves. Commercial baby food is a waste of money, high in water content, requires spoon feeding (self-feeding is better), often tastes bad, and is bad for the environment. It is easy to feed your baby healthy foods.
