How do you feel for your cervix?

I see some post about other moms and other moms to be checking their own cervix..is it possible? How do i do that? & also..Is it safe for you to be doing this yourself..

  • Dr's dont even like checking the cervix very often b/c it can introduce bacteria into the vagina and its not safe.

Not to mention I dont think I could talk myself into pushing my hand that far up there. Sort of gross...ok a LOT gross. lol

  • I don't think unless you are trained you even know what to look for. And are they using gloves so they don't introduce bacteria into the vagina?
