It's almost impossible to compare my car insurance to someone else's insurance. There are too many factors to consider. Your credit score, marital status, claims and violations history, make and model of car, location, and many other factors weigh in on the price of insurance. I would recommend contacting an independent agent and calling around to other agents to get the best deal. Make sure your Bodily Injury Liability limits are high enough (state minimums are not enough), make sure you have Medical Payments and Uninsured/Underinsured Motorists coverages. Weigh your deductible options carefully.

We use The Hartford for home and car insurance and have found it very good so far, both in terms of customer service and claim handling.
