  • This week we are having grilled chicken breast tossed in Hooter's wing sauce with sweet potato fries.

Usually we make a recipe from another country and enjoy that. I also usually make some type of homemade bread to go with it but we were craving wings and I'm on a diet so we're making our own version.

  • Do you mean you feed your kids icecream for dinner?

    No judgement...just curious.

  • It's a "Whatever we can think of" night. Just like every other night.
Tonight we had Burgers and Onion Rings.

  • We used to have frozen pizza most Sunday nights but I wanted to get away from that. So lately it's usually a whatever night - leftovers, sandwiches, cereal, literally whatever. Tonight, since we had breakfast & lunch both late (and both big) we had apples with peanut butter and popcorn, and a muffin if you were still hungry.

  • It's no different than any other night.. and most nights we don't eat dinner at all. Big lunch and an after school/work snack and we aren't hungry for dinner anyway.

  • miasmommy: my kids are 25 and 19, so most Sunday nights its just me and the hubby now! But yes, I gave them ice cream for supper when they were growing up too....kind of a family tradition. When I was growing up we always had a big Sunday dinner and ice cream and peanut butter sandwiches on Sunday night! I know it's very healthy, but it's fun!!
