  • i think most start at 2.5 for the 2 or 3 our classes a couple times a week or a daycare but thats more expensive. my daycare is set up like a preschool and most kids are advanced by the time they go to school

  • Public school is usually 4 unless there are special circumstances, like the child is developmentally delayed in some way. Private preschools may start at 3. Anything before that isn't preschool so much as daycare.

  • in my area, there is playgroup for 2yr old that meet once a week for two hours. then a "nursery school" for three year olds. four year olds go to pre-k and five year olds go to kindergarten

  • My started private preschool at 2.5 years. He went 2 days/week 9-11.30. NO it is not daycare considering he has to be potty trained to go, no daycare on site, and finally no babies were allowed to go.
