Talking to a 9 y/o

I just bought my daughter her first bra. She is starting to bud. Anyway, should I just tell her about getting boobies, or should we talk about everything? Or should I just let her ask the questions and I answer them? Oh, and she will be 9 in 4 days.

  • Take it slow, talking to her about bra's and breasts at this point is probably good enough. Keep it light, you can say her body is changing and there will be more to come. That leaves it open for her to ask.

  • I believe talking to her about her breasts and bras is a start! Too much information will be overwhelming for her. Take it slowly!
