  • Hahahha...good luck..if you find out let me know! lol All you can do is offer healthy foods and if they don't eat....well, they must not be that hungry. A toddler won't starve him/herself, so just offer healthy foods and let your mind relax. We can't control whether they eat or not, but we can control what they eat when decide to eat. Don't give in to only making certain foods, after all...you're a mom not a short order cook! He'll realize...either way, you're not starving your child if you're always putting healthy meals in front of them. Sure it hurts when that food ends up in the garbage disposal, BUT you offered it....most important. Good luck Mama!

  • Cut up fruits, veggies, cubes of chicken. cubes of cheese. Put the food on a fun plate like Winnie The Pooh and maybe it will get him to eat if he likes what he sees

  • Make it fun......
We had great fun playing with the cheese cubes.... stacking them up on the table, kniocking them over.... same with carrots / celery...

Baked chips are great, use them to draw with sauce ! Cook them in the oven and htey're very low in fat and a good source of carbs, also not a lot of taste.
Don't worry, kids pick up on stress so easily, makt it fun, and enjoy it yourself.

Don't think of it as a 'he's failing to eat' ..... think of it as 'he's learning how to enjoy food'....

Our daughter refused flatly to let us feed her, she's 2 1/2 now, eats sushi, chilli, loves, ,absolutely loves curry and rice. Proper spicey curry too, especially the tomato ones.

Don't make it a battle, just keep offering little bits of whatever you're eating.
