  • What time do you feed him in the evening? What time do you put him to bed?

  • Babies do not always sleep through the night. It's very sad that you are irritated by this - I am sure he would rather not inconvenience you either, but he is a BABY and babies have needs.

  • Nothing you do, or feed them will "make" them sleep through the night. STTN is a developmental thing. They do it when THEY are ready and not a second sooner.

The oats may actually make your baby wake more because grains are hard to digest for infants, milk can also upset their stomachs and sugar will just keep them awake.

Feed the same dinner you eat, and co-sleep if you need more sleep. He'll sleep through when he's ready, just do whatever you can to get the most rest.

  • I would stop putting sugar in the oatmeal....try giving him baby cereal and mix it will fruit instead if he likes it sweet. some babies wake up just because it is routine and what they are used to even if they are not hungry...if you can console him without feeding him and without getting him out of his bed you can teach him to soothe himself back to sleep.

  • Try mashing some potatoe, butternut and chicken. It fills their tummies up quite nicely, as its a 3 in one!!!

  • Feeding ur baby any special meal will not make him sleep through the night you'll just have to wait till he's ready
