  • In our little school they can start at 2 1/2 but I would just recommend at 3 since I've seen our little 2 1/2 and they have a hard time leaving the parents and following rules.

  • Our preschool has a program for 2 1/2 year olds, but it is not very popular. Many 2 1/2 year olds are not ready for preschool yet, so a lot of parents don't sign up for that class. It always has openings. I think in our area, the 3-year-old preschool class seems to be the popular starting point.

  • In our school system, they have to be potty trained and at least 3 years old.

  • DD started at 3 because she asked me to go. The requirements at her school were 3 years old and potty trained
