Can baby pushing down really hard cause me to leak amniotic fluid?

If the baby is pushing down really hard can that cause you to have a leak of amniotic fluid or break your water?

  • Didn't you just ask this? If so, if you are that worried about it go to the doctor. And no baby pushing down doesn't break your water. The bag is sealed.

  • A fetus doesn't literally push down. Contractions and gravity causes the pressure.

  • The baby pushing down can cause your bladder to leak. If you are worried call your doctor. If you are no longer leaking then it was likely just pee. Don't worry it happens to the best of us.

  • Baby pushing down will make you leak urine. You have to have a tear in the bag to leak fluids.
